Early Years
Harry Edward Kane was born on July 28, 1993 in Walthamstow, London, England. He was born to Kim and Patrick Kane and has one older brother, Charlie. Kane started his football career at the age of eight, playing for Ridgeway Rovers, a local club in north London, where David Beckham had played at youth level.
Youth Career
Kane joined the Arsenal youth academy when he was eight years old. However, after a season, he was let go because he was thought to be overweight and lacking in pace. He then returned to his old club, Ridgeway Rovers and also had brief spells at Watford and Tottenham Hotspur's academies before finally finding a home at Spurs.
